Agent Context
Recurring memory-store maintenance owned by Steffon (QA/Infra), modeled on test-pruning (devops-cycle-design.md §3.5). The agent auto-memory MEMORY.md index has a ~24KB load budget; over it the loader truncates → partial recall. It grew to ~38KB and was trimmed to ~24KB by shortening over-long index hooks (detail stays in topic files). SOP = monthly cadence: size-check, trim hooks, prune stale/superseded (relocate to repo docs if they belong there), consolidate dupes, verify 1:1 index↔file + no broken links, never memorialize what CLAUDE.md/git already records.
